8 Extraordinary Vessels: Diagnosis and Treatment of Pscho-emotional Pain

This course gives an overview of the 8 Extraordinary Vessels, their use in the diagnosis and treatment of psycho-emotional disorders and how the functions of these vessels relate to psycho-emotional health and respond to evolutionary stress.
Understanding the pathways and the points along the trajectories allows for a deeper understanding of how to use these vessels to help patients adapt to the major changes in life that often cause emotional suffering. This approach benefits not only the psycho-emotional well-being but also the physical health, easing the suffering caused by stress-induced illness.

Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho – Level I
Reiki is a therapeutic modality of Japanese origin and, like all other oriental energetic medicines, it aims at cultivating and transmitting universal life energy in order to improve the state of the body and the mind.
The level one course covers the origins of Reiki, how it was handed from one generation to another and how it first appeared in the West in the mid-1930s. The initiation rites focus on the development of one’s discipline of the mind and teaches hand positioning to allow for self-treatments and treatments of others.

FMT Basic Kinesiology Taping Certification – Basic and Advanced Training
The advanced 6-hour course expands on the concepts presented in the FMT 6-hour Basic program and explores to possibility of enhancing human movement and performance through functional taping methods. This course covers the anatomy and physiology of myofascial lines that allows for accurate evaluation of movement dysfunctions (biomechanical, neurological, etc.) in specific anatomical planes of motion and covers the various taping technique known to improve a variety of sports performance.

Chinese Medicine for Burn-out and Depression
These seminars cover acupuncture, craniopuncture, electroacupuncture, moxibustion and review the Jing Fang classical herbal formulas in the treatment of depression and burnout. First, these two conditions are differentiated by their characteristics and effects on the brain and energetic evaluations are explained in association with treatment methods and protocols.
